What would life be without instruction? There is definitely purpose for this life and purpose for your existence. We will experience the unexpected on a regular basis, but it is the instruction that keeps us grounded. It is the initial plan that keeps us on course. Our God is not a reckless, distorted Father, so whenever you encounter these issues in life know that it is not of God. Know that there is instruction on how to get around the confusion and pain. The best instruction booklet on the planet is the Holy Bible. It provides a connection (Jesus Christ) between you and God that reveals what God has in store for you and me. The powerful part about the Bible is that the words don’t need to change. Only you do. In The Way to The Truth, I teach how the Bible is living text. We view the Bible through the physical eye and see a book that has been living in homes for generations; never understanding what has been written for us to seek and learn. I give my own testimony in my book about how the words read differently as I grew, because I became different. I became more intimate with God. I allowed God to see that I was ready for His food. I was no longer limited to the milk as an infant (1 Corinthians 3:2).
It’s almost like a switch in the brain, when in reality it is a switch in the spirit. You are going to receive a generic brain, heart, feet, and so forth in your physical body with their individual differences in each of us. But you will receive an evolving spirit. You have the power to embrace the spirit or quiet it. It is going to challenge you because ultimately, your spirit is your connection to God. Throughout the many parts of your life (career, family, relationships, etc), you are still required to grow. You are still maturing. I even mentioned this in the book, about how many don’t realize that we have to grow as long as we live. There is always room for growth. You were never meant to be stagnant. Do you realize if you stop maturing by a certain age that you would drop dead as soon as it happened? There would be no more purpose. There would be nothing else to do. In reality, you can be 90 years of age and still be on a mission. As long as you trust in God, He will continue to pour into you. This is the very reason we are allowed to have an instruction booklet. A spirit-filled instruction booklet. Instructions so potent that you never realized certain information existed in the very book you have read front to back. As soon as you believe you have read it all, God pours more. You must understand that your cup gets bigger as you spiritually grow. You are now signaling to God that He has your attention. Our gracious Father enhances your abilities and pours more.
As we mature, we realize the purpose of it all. You could never be who you were meant to be had you not matured. A recent interview I was in, the guest shared the risk of receiving their wisdom too soon. It could have easily destroyed them, because our wisdom of the world is totally different from our maturity in the spirit. The best example goes back to the beginning of our instructions. In Genesis, God placed life amongst knowledge. He had a place for good and evil. He blessed our immature selves with the only thing that was needed at the moment; not having knowledge of good and evil. It is possible that there could have been purpose for this knowledge as mankind matured, but it was definitely too early for Adam and Eve. This led to the creation of the challenges faced in our current time. Now, we all receive information quicker than we receive spiritual maturity because less and less people are reading the Bible. If taken off milk too soon, the solid foods could kill the infant. Welcome to the world and clear understanding of why we have to mature in order to receive more. We have to be spiritually prepared for our growth. If you feel you are at a standstill, it’s time to go to God. It’s time to study your word, your instructions.
