Voices

God uses some of the most amazing voices to talk to you. When I say voices, I’m not talking about the overthinking you do to yourself. I’m talking about people you have relationships with on this God-given earth. I’m talking about strangers that only passed by you to be a message that you needed at the current stage of your life. If you were to channel back through your life, you would be amazed at the many times God showed Himself, but you were not mature enough to receive it. You were still in denial of who God is and how active He is in your life. So when the time comes to push you to the next level and take you to that next desire, you were too comfortable in your current you. You knew too much about your current you to ever learn about God.

It reminds me of the story about the man stranded, after a shipwreck. It tells of how the man was waiting for God to rescue him. It mentions how someone appeared on a boat, and then another boat. The person was so focused on what they believed God should be and how God would appear that they declined each opportunity and chose to wait on God. They never realized that this is God’s earth and He can use anyone that He chooses. God can easily use me to write words of encouragement to take you to the next stage of your life. I’m nowhere near who God is and will never claim to be. I’m simply saying that we all belong to God. We are all His children. Why place limitations around our unlimited Creator? This is the significance of the Bible. Every writing was composed by a person, just like you and me. There was nothing special about them. What was special is the message that God gave to speak to us. This type of communication continues to this day. God wasn’t only in existence during those periods of time. God is more prevalent in current times than any other time in history. This is one of the reasons for ministers. Jesus Christ asked, “He that has ears to hear, let him hear” (Matthew 11:15). It has always been based on our end of the deal. Do you want to try God? Do you want to believe based on your limited understanding, or are you ready to see what exists? You didn’t know there was a such thing as division in math, until you attempted to learn it. You didn’t know there was a person in black history called Harriet Tubman, until you tried to learn it. We can spend days learning about the business of others in the news, but won’t invest any time in God. He has so much information about you that He wants to share with you. So many opportunities that we have let pass by. Voices of prosperity, success, happiness, peace, and the list goes on. Let God talk, this time around. We just need to listen.
