Your life will never be the same. You probably have heard this statement before at a church. I will only add onto it by saying it will be nothing like you expect it to be. Another famous quote fits perfectly, “If you want to make God laugh, tell Him about your plans.” God knows what is best for you because we only determine our wants and desires by what we have experienced in the world. Our desires have nothing to do with our true selves. There are still cuisines you have not experienced yet. No one knows you better than God. For this reason, God introduces things to you at the appropriate time. There are definitely things you have yet to experience spiritually. God is peeling back the layers, right in front of your face. You begin to question the things you start to discover. At one time, you had no clue that it existed. “But how?” This is the beauty of God. If God had laid out every single thought and idea on the very first day, it could have possibly harmed you. I believe it would have undoubtedly harmed you. You were not mature enough to receive it. In this short period of time of writing my latest books, God has been revealing so much to me. It has lead me to believe that there is still so much that I don’t know. Jesus confirmed it in John 16:12-13, “I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.” There are layers upon layers that lead to your understanding of the truth.
The very first time you receive enlightenment, you are going try to find more information. It’s nothing wrong having the desires, but you still may not be ready. This is where we develop patience and learn to accept that God has His timing for everything. It’s just a blessing to know that there is change. Imagine how much more advanced the world would be, if we all invested more time in our growth in God. The more that is revealed, the more stronger you become mentally. There’s not as much trial and error. We learn to respect the process, because of our respect and trust in God. Change is such a beautiful part of life. It is only right that we seek God the more. At one time, I limited everything to what was written in the Bible; never knowing that God could speak to us beyond the pages. God will also enhance the words in your Bible. As you gain more understanding, the words produce new meaning. God had it planned for you to change as He structured the earth. This is what defines the words, “be fruitful”. God wants you to go out and produce, become more. He never wants any of us to repeat the next person. He wants you to change.
Change is the standard of our existence. The seasons change on schedule. The trees and plants manage to renew themselves, every year. You were never meant to stay in one place as one person. You were meant to challenge yourself and become more. The perfect example is the parable about the talents (Matthew 25:14-30). Three different people received talents. One of them only received one talent. Because they only had one talent, they buried it and didn’t even attempt to multiply it and produce more. What are you sitting on and not attempting to accomplish? Are you more concerned with what others have than utilizing what you have? If you want to use more, then become more. Take what you currently have and turn it into a greater value. Make it work for you, then you will have even more to start with the next time around. Regardless of how little or great it may be, the only focus is that there’s change. Do you want to change? Do you prefer to be stagnant? If change is too much to stomach, then start small. Change what time you wake up. Change the way you prepare your coffee. Change the route you take to your place of business. Just do something different to see that change isn’t something scary and with God, it is mandatory.
