Ever been in the wrong place to get to the right place at the right time!

What many don’t realize is that it’s necessary to first be in the wrong place to get to the right place. If you were already in the right place, there would be no need to get there. I say that to simply say there is victory in any challenges that you may be facing. If things are not going like you would want, then trust that God will guide you to where your destiny lies. A lot of times, the wrong place is exactly what we need because we have become too comfortable in our current circumstances. We would rather find ways to live with the ‘lack’, than create a plan to get rid of lack. When we choose to settle for less than what we’re worth, then it is time to find out that you’re in the wrong place. I picture the process of an eagle and its eaglets. Those eaglets can only live in their nests for so long before they become too comfortable. The eagle begins to make the nest uncomfortable. This will undoubtedly lead to only one option: leave. The first step in an uncomfortable situation is realizing that God purposely has more in store for you. You weren’t created with lack and limitations in mind. You were honestly the perfect person to show how this is the exact opposite. In my book, The Way to The Truth, I have a chapter titled “You’re About to Be a Testimony”. A challenge is a blessing because you not only discover how much greater is waiting for you, but you also become a testimony for the next person that may find themselves in a hard place.

The right place comes along with a feeling. There’s just something different to what you have previously been through. Even though there may be similarities, the right place has knowingly differences from where you once were. This is another reason why you have your experiences in the wrong places, so you know for a fact that you are approaching what God has in store for you. You may not have enjoyed the experience of where you shouldn’t be, but it ultimately made it very clear to know where you are supposed to be. A lot of times, we sell our own selves short, due to lack of belief that we deserve more. This sick mindset has to be destroyed, so that we can be receptive of our true blessings. But, finding the right place just isn’t enough.

Timing is everything. I discovered this firsthand when it came to my literature ministry. I had two great opportunities. My first opportunity was to sit back and wait on something to appear one day. I could also try the second opportunity that required taking initiative. Taking initiative doesn’t mean you have to put yourself at risk, but you are doing everything within your ability to fuel your dreams, change your situation, and improve your life. One of the amazing things about God is that He will give you the vision and allow you to take it from there. He is allowing you to be the very reason He created you. God is allowing you to be a creator. An individual who pulls from their bank of wisdom and finds a way to build. A great message I received from a sermon today spoke about how you would never have the vision, if it didn’t exist. Think about that. You are not thinking about random things that eventually get thrown away. Your dream is just as real as the chair you sit in. The Wright Brothers didn’t envision an airplane because they were bored. They were shown their destiny. It was up to them to act on it or view it as impossible. They could also wait until something showed up. Instead they acted on it. This is required for all of us. Simply act on it. There’s no time like the present. This is how you develop perfect timing as God gives the provision for your beliefs and determination. Eventually, you will have the right time that aligns with the right place and ultimately manifests your destiny.
